In the middle of December 2008, BII with PRIMA network has enlarge services to BII customer. Now, BII ATM/Debit Card has acceptable to do Purchase transaction at BCA EDC Debit machine using PIN.
In the earlier period, if BII customer wants to pay using other bank’s EDC machine (thru Cirrus / Maestro network), several cashier / merchant would be adding an additional surcharge (2% till 3% from transaction total amount) to the customer, because most of them (cashier) treat transaction using signature based authorization likely a credit card transaction. In the meantime, PIN based authorization commonly rejected (especially at Debit BCA’s merchants) because BII not yet subscribed as PRIMA Debit / Debit BCA member.
Right now, BII customer feasible to do transaction with PIN based authorization at BCA’s EDC machines. Thus, BII customers need not to be afraid of the costly additional surcharge added by those merchants. Hence, BII customers only need to pay a low-priced transaction fee:
• Purchase transaction : Rp. 5.000,-
• Void transaction : Rp. 3.000,-
• Failure transaction caused by customer fault* : Rp. 2.000,-
* Including customer input wrong PIN, insufficient account balance.
This service is available for all BII ATM/Debit card type (included Musafir Card) :
• Reguler Card
• Gold Card
• Platinum Access Card
The applicable purchase transaction limit (thru PIN based authorization) will be preserve for your convenient:
• For Reguler Card : Rp. 10 mio/day.
• For Gold Card : Rp. 30 mio/day.
• For Platinum Access Card : Rp. 50 mio/day.
To be able enjoying this service, BII customer must be checking up and ensuring that their BII AT/Debit card already stamped with PRIMA Debit / Debit BCA logo (sticker), if not, the customer recommended to visit the nearest BII branches to get PRIMA Debit / Debit BCA logo (sticker).
